Dance Department
HAFAA’s dance department offers a challenging curriculum. Dean of Dance, Gagik Tadevosyan, has a Master’s Degree in Dance and Child Education from the State University of Armenia. He has many years of experience performing professionally around the world and teaching dance.
The Dance departments offers four disciplines of dance; International Dance, Ballet, Ballroom, and Jazz Dance. Girls and Boys are placed in one of four levels according to their age, experience, and ability.
International Dance
This program teaches children dances from all around the world. In this program we accept children from ages 3-16 years old. This program is divided into 4 group levels based on the child’s age, experience, and ability.
Group A (3-6 year olds)
Ages 3-6 students are classified as Group A. This session will be your child’s formative years. By learning the basics and understanding the fundamentals of dance.
Enrollment Screening
All new students must be scheduled for a screening day in order to enroll. The screening will resemble a trial class and a meeting with the Department Director. A school specialist will be looking to see if a student is interested and excited to learn, has an ear for music, wants to work hard, and is willing to apply direction and correction into their work.
Mondays/Wednesdays
Studio B: 5:00 – 6:00 PM (beginner level)
Ages 3-6 students are classified as Group A. This session is for students with a natural ability for a career of dance or for those students with previous dance experience. We expect the student to have a firm understanding of the basics and are willing to master the fundamentals.

A school specialist will be looking to see if a student is interested and excited to learn, has an ear for music, wants to work hard, and is willing to apply direction and correction into their work.

Ages 3-6 students are classified as Group A. This session is for students that demonstrate an exceptional ability dance. Dean of HAFAA Gagik Tadevosyan is looking for students that are passionate about the art form and are motivated to pursue long-term training.
